Time to prove I'm worth something...!!
Guitar strapped on his back, Namihiko wandered to a spot in the park that he found suit for the performance he was about to pull. He had found a guitar in the attic of his home and decided it may be fun to play around with; possibly a street performance for money. He felt that if he did such a thing, it could be one step closer to fitting in with society and becoming more like the humans he lived amongst.
"Oooookay..." He took his guitar in his hands, strumming it once to check if it were tuned well, "Set up ready...! Let's rock!!"
And thus he began, strumming wildly at the guitar strings, notes flying everywhere as he loudly attempted to make music. All of the people nearby turned their heads at the loud sound, faces contorting with discomfort and confusion. Murmurs rose at the sound of the teenagers attempt at making music.
Though he fullheartedly believed he was making amazing, awesome music, the music, in reality, sounded horrible.
Murmuring soon became boos and heckling as the obnoxious strumming continued on, and soon after came calls and beggings for him to stop. Oblivious as ever, Namihiko continued to dance around with the guitar. Annoyed with the noise and unable to stand it any longer, a girl in the crowd took it upon herself to stop the torture herself. Taking the empty soda can in her hand, she proceeded to throw it at the brunet's head, hitting him square in the forehead, causing him to yelp and fall backwards to the grass.
"Knock it off, you moron!!" She hissed before storming off, and as if it were an initiation for everyone to leave, the surrounding people dispersed, mumbling and grumbling as they did.
Now alone and feeling more rejected from society than ever, Namihiko held his face in pain, mumbling "ouch"s and "why"s to himself as he rolled around for a moment. Settling down from his fit of pain, he pouted deeply, staring up at the sky where he lie in the grass. The sun was beginning to set and the stars were coming out, fading into view as the world turned. He took sometime to watch the balls of light, a sigh passing his lips as he relaxed, sinking into the grass as he closed his eyes in thought.
"Why can't I just be cool and normal like the rest of the world? Really... This sucks."
