How had he managed for so long without falling back into old and enticing habits? What they had managed to pull off on this night was positively thrilling. When he had learned of Felix's threats to the pirate they despised so greatly, the opportunity had been all too tempting. Then Emma Swan had practically set herself up for danger, holing herself up alone in that station; it had been all to easy to kidnap her. The fight she had put up was a pleasant surprise, but there had only been one of her, and too many of them. The boys were trained to be silent and inconspicuous, which had meant an easy retreat back into the forest with the treasured Savior in tow.
Peter had selected the twins as lookouts for the time being, while he waited for the town to stir a little. It wouldn't be long before someone noticed her absence, which meant they had little time to make decisions. They had to choose the best way to use Emma as an advantage, and for that, there was only one person he would turn to. With little grace, he dropped Emma's body on the forest floor behind shrubbery, then turned to look at his most loyal lost boy. "Well done, Felix," a wicked smirk formed on his lips when he spoke, his voice low. "Looks like we're back in business."
