Snowball Fight

As far as he was concerned, Christmas started on December 1st and lasted throughout the entire month. Which meant he was always in the holiday spirit. And with his sister out playing with her friends, well that left him alone to try to seek someone else's company. The someone else ended up being Selena, who he was currently waiting outside her house for. Jack hadn't bothered to call her in advance to say that he was coming over. Instead he had decided to just show up with a snowball in his hand. Jack was throwing as many snowballs as he could watching as each one hit the window that belonged to her room. "Aw come on! I know ya in there. No point in ignoring me!" he shouted.

Selena stares at Jack, seeing that he is ready to yell or fight with somebody. She sighs and walks out of the room and comes back with a squirt bottle and starts squirting water at his face. "Bad hubby, bad. You are setting a terrible example for Rose." (Lol just had to)

The spray of the water, annoying as it was, grounded him from unsolicited and unexplainable feelings of anger and the general need to smash or hit something. It reminded him of the path he so desperately wanted to avoid- shoes he didn’t want to fill. It left him once again bottling whatever he could fit inside.

Jack nodded to Selena as if to say thank you before grabbing his coat and heading out for a walk. Nothing would clear his head like a little fresh air would, especially now that it was crisp almost to the point of chilly now that winter was rolling in.

It was raining that day, Chris didn’t have work and was lounging on the sofa with his very pregnant wife at the moment. Although at the moment the book that was in his hands wasn’t holding his attention very well. At some point he grinned and started calling Sarah as many silly names he could think of, not saying anything if she asked what was up hoping she would join in. At this point he had reached…

“Darling of my life and future mother of the most adorable children that will ever be born on this planet.” he finished with a cheeky smile.

“You know i though pregnant women were suppose to start feeling more tired as the baby grew. You seem to still have a lot of energy though.” Chris teased as he wrapped his arms around Sarah and pulled her close.

“I know but watching you actually do it is different then being told. You are insane!” The redhead replies with a frown, eyeing the bulls.

He could only chuckle a little as he removed the hardened protective vest from his chest by his truck. Everything was still on him from his ride from a few minutes earlier where he had proved his insanity but also his talent in staying on the bucking animal to score. "Maybe I am but it's in my blood. I come by it honestly but it's an adrenaline rush."

“Didn’t we already establish that though? I did tell you I rode bulls before the event happened.”

Selena smiles and pulls her hand away from the snail. Though she giggles at what Nightshade said. She must have a lot of snails. "Yeah, though sometimes I come here on purpose. Don't tell Samhain." She jokes before wrapping her arms around her legs. "Oh, I'm Selena."

“Yeaaah I figured that. Don’t worry! People come here on purpose all the time~” Nightshade said with a wave of her paw. “Nice t’meetcha, Selena! I’m Nightshade!”

“I heard shoutin’ jus’ now, but seein’ as I haven’t done anythin’ all day cept have tea parties with Mr Bubbles, I’m guessin’ that was your doin’?” she asked cheekily.

"Sure why not." She drops down to the ground before looking at the snail. "He is Mr.Bubbles?" She asks, as she reaches out to touch the snail. "How long have you had him?" Selena looks down at Nightshade with a smile, at least one of them was opening to her right now.

“Yep! Mr Bubbles! At least I think that’s him! I forget! But he’s the biggest one right now soooooo,” and her words trailed off from there. As Selena reached out to touch the snail, it’s antennae shrunk only a little but it did not hide into its shell. “Mmmmmm I dunno! Pretty long, I guess?” the cat shrugged its shoulders, not really knowing how to answer.

“You’re that human girl that keeps gettin’ lost an’ endin’ up at our house!” giggled Nightshade, who’d never been properly introduced. “What’s your name?”
