Outoftricks: I will unfortunately be archiving this blog. What does this mean? It means I won't be rping on here. I'll still be rping in discord but that'll be the extent of it. The reason for this is, I'm not as active as I would like to be and I have lost many rp partners over the years. It's also been incredibly hard for me to try and rp with new people as of late, and school as well as my mental health haven't been cooperating for me to keep this blog running.
Honestly I'm pretty bummed that I have to come to this decision. This blog means the world to me and rping as Jack has been a great pleasure. This blog has also been my longest running one yet. But I guess it's just time to go. I'll most likely archive this blog tomorrow or the day after. If you would like my discord you're more then welcome to message me and I'll gladly give it to you. I'm a bit more active on discord then I am here. But yeah it's been a blast. Thanks for putting up with me and Jack for this long.XD

More Shepherd!Jack
Having a large flock of sheep to tend to, thereâs bound to be some lost lambs that wander and Jack has no problem looking for them and lead them back. But there is one ram in particular that keeps him on his toes.Â
Tip-Toes, or Tip as Jack likes to call him, makes it his mission to run to places Jack canât possibly reach. Pity he doesnât consider that Jackson Overland, shepherd extraordinaire, has the Winds on his side.Â
@teen-peter
âJackson Frost, youâre under arrest by-come back here!â
There was no way he was going to stick around. Clearly those men he had turned down for the role of Alexei Nikolaevich had reported him to the police. Ever since the fall of the Romanov family and the rise of the revolution things havenât been all too great. Many people have even said that things were a bit worse then it had been under the Romanov family. But any complaints weâre usually said behind closed doors. Since any talk of wanting the royal family back could easily get you thrown in jail. Which meant even spreading the rumor of the prince Alexei Nikolaevich being alive was bound to get you arrested.
And Jack, well, he was a conman, the best in the business. But even he didnât have enough food on his table like most people in Russia. So naturally he had devised a scheme and had set up auditions to see if anyone could be convincing to play the role of Alexei Nikolaevich. But unfortunately no one has even come close, and to make matters worse he had been reported. No doubt the military probably thought that he was looking for the real Alexei. Jack just had to make sure they didnât catch him. He bumped into someone then, nearly falling on the floor before he caught them just in time. A few shouts weâre behind him and without thinking he dragged the stranger off into an alleyway. He placed his hand over their mouth and waited until the officers ran by where they were hiding.
Jack breathed a sigh of relief and immediately dropped his hand from the others mouth. âSorry about that. But ya weâre in the way.â
"Alright, here we go. Best seamstress in the business. Her name's Iana. She owes me a favor or two. She'll definitely be able to get ya out of those rags."
Jack gestured his hand at Peter as he walked inside the shop. After he had finally fallen asleep, he awoke the next morning in a rush. Basically pushing the redhead out the door so they could make it in time to their appointment. Of course this meant they hadn't had time to eat any breakfast but Jack figured he would buy something later.
"Solider boy! It's been a while!"
Jack rolled his eyes over the nickname that he hadn't been able to shake off.
"Yeah, hi. Look here's Peter. He needs something way better then this. Ya got anything good? Nothing too fancy but nothing too bland either.",
Iana smiled before patting Jack on the shoulder. "You're back to your old schemes aren't you? Don't worry, why don't you run off now. Peter is in good hands."
Jack mumbled out a 'fine' before walking off. Iana watched him leave before turning to Peter.
"There much better. Follow me. Excuse the mess. So if you don't mind my asking, how do you two know each other? He usually doesn't bring people in here with him. Personally I think it's that terrible personality of his that scares people away," she laughed.
Nyctha nodded, he could start to notice how Jack started to change, seemed more drowsy. After everything he went through plus the meal and medicine he probably would knock out in the car which would be fine, especially since they were going back to his house to collect his things. Also he wasnât certain if his father was home, or maybe out visiting Aster who knew, he was still bitter with him at the moment.
Nyctha finished his shake, smiling at Jack not realizing he was just, watching him. Almost dazed off, North noticed this as he cleared his throat. The boy snapped out of it, sitting up straight giving the other an apologetic look.
âI will grab your things when we get home, unless you donât want me to. I donât know if..hâŠheâs there.â
Was it bad he didnât want to call him his father? He was beyond irritated with how he treated Jack.
Jack didnât even notice that Nightlight was staring at him. He was far too busy trying to get the last scoop of his milkshake out of the glass. He managed to accomplish this task and happily placed the spoon in his mouth. His happiness was short lived though when Nightlight brought up getting his stuff. Ah, right.Â
âWould ya mind going in there by yaâself and getting my stuff for me? Not a good idea for me to see him right nowâŠâ Mannyâs treatment of him, when all he had wanted to do was help, had been awful. Jack didnât need a repeat of that. And he seriously doubted he would ever get an apology. So honestly? It was just better if he didnât see Manny for a while.Â
Jack smiled gently at the hug. He placed his head down on the others shoulder until Nightlight leaned away from him. He tilted his head at the others mention of space, already coming up with a hundred ideas to paint. âSnacks and any music I want? Ya do know how to spoil a guy,â he teased. Jack nodded his head before he slowly stood up. âLetâs paint ya room first. Weâll ask North if he has any paint lying around. Come on!â
Jack took his now empty plate and walked outside the room. He made his way into the kitchen, dropping the plate onto the sink. He then turned to look at North who was sitting at the table. âYa wouldnât happen to have any paint lying around will ya? Weâre gonna paint lots of space stuff up in the attic. So do ya have any?â
The contact felt nice, it was something he craved, something he missed. Constantly with Aster he felt as if he was annoying him whenever he wanted a hug or a kiss and the hugs his friends gave felt fabricated. He hoped it proved to the other he could be a safe spot if needed.
âThat I do.â
He winked, playing around with him as he took his own empty plates following Jack to the kitchen. North was sipping coffee at the table reading the news paper. He noticed both boys played were empty, he felt happy to this. Normally breakfast was a fight with Nyctha, and hearing the speech about how many calories were in a slice of bread or excuses of how carbs gave him hiccups seemed silent. Nychta went to the sink doing the dishes as North and Jack talked.
âOf course, let me take you to the workshop. If there is any other colors you need let me know, or perhaps glow paint? We can go to the store later, I need to stop by myself.â
North checked the time he was running late yet he seemed calm about it. He stood leading Jack outside to a large shed in the back. Inside was filled with paints, brushes, wood, glue, tools and half finished projects and drawings.
âTake what ever you need, Iâm only staying half the day I will be back by lunch.â
He handed Jack a set of keys with a smile putting a hand on his shoulder.
âWhatever is here is yours. Donât be a stranger ok? Dingle will be home to protect you both.â
There were loads of paint alright. His eyes wandered around the shed before he turned his attention to North. He took the keys from the other, nodding his head. "Thanks." Admittedly he still felt a bit hesitant around the other. But he supposed that feeling will pass with time. Jack walked over to the paint buckets. He lifted the lids and looked down at each color before deciding on a few. He grabbed black, white, blue, purple, and red paint buckets before slowly dragging them outside.
It was a pain, mainly because his chest still hurt. But eventually he managed to drag a few more paint buckets outside. Now came the hard part. How the hell was he going to drag all this upstairs to the attic by himself?
Nyctha nodded, he could start to notice how Jack started to change, seemed more drowsy. After everything he went through plus the meal and medicine he probably would knock out in the car which would be fine, especially since they were going back to his house to collect his things. "He shouldn't be living with ya. Plain and simple. Manny's an idiot," he huffed out. Jack placed his now empty plate down on the dresser that was beside the bed, before he let out a sigh. "Sometimes, don't know. I blame myself for how Aster turned out." Despite everything that Aster had done to him, a part of him did feel guilty. "Aster wasn't all bad before. He used to like nerdy stuff too. Sometimes he would sleep over at my house after a beating from his dad. Like have said before, he really was my best friend. But there was this guy I liked. Jamie. Super cute and great at art too. Aster knew I liked him, he told Jamie lies about me. Must have been bad because Jamie stopped talking to me. Thought Aster was just worried about losing me. So told him that wasn't going to happen. Then like I told ya, he tried to kiss me. Rejected him, yada, yada, yada."
Jack turned his head to look out the window before he continued. "Aster have never beaten me or anything back then. But he did have a temper. Kinda why didn't wanna be with him in that way. Aster wouldn't talk to me for months after. Just thought he needed time, ya know? Then those rumors and his bullying started when high school came around and...just maybe if had tried to talk to him right after my rejection. Don't know. Maybe he wouldn't have turned out like this..."
He wiped at his eyes with his sleeves before looking back at Nightlight. "Attic sounds awesome for a room. Can paint something on the walls for ya, if ya want. To liven the place up a bit."
Nyctha nodded, he could start to notice how Jack started to change, seemed more drowsy. âReally? Well, when you get better I want to see you try. I feel like you might be able to learn again, then you can teach me and we can drop out and join the circus.â
Nyctha took the bowl of fruit, grabbing a slice of pineapple he put it in his mouth enjoying the sweetness, he seemed a lot calmer, feeling more confident to be open with Jack than in the past he knew hr could trust him, he wouldnât judge, and no longer had Aster to fear.
âWell, once Aster is out dad insisted he stay with us. Not that him being my ex is akward enough but having the person whoâŠdid..things to you for years there doesnât exactly make me feel safe. Then he starts going off about how heâs the son he always imagined he would have and how he feels he needs to not abandon him. Just a bunch of stuff..I was upstairs but the house echoes..â
He didnât want to go to much into it for fear of crying, he was pretty well at holding it in at the moment, unlike that night before crying all throughout the car ride, the panic attack infront of North and the lack of sleep. Maybe he was just numb at the moment.
âNorth offered me to stay, but I also want to give you your space Iâm sure youâre adjusting as well.â
Nyctha picked up a piece of watermelon, maybe Jack would like it, it was sweet as he offered it to him.
Jack chewed at his pancake in thought as Nightlight spoke. "To be honest didn't want Manny to abandon him either," he admitted. "But thought Manny would give Aster some space. Maybe sign him up for anger therapy, put him back into wrestling, that sort of thing. Didn't expect Manny to have Aster live with ya though." Jack shook his head, he doubted Aster would ever get better. Especially with Manny still intent on pushing his ideals onto him. But it wasn't like he could give the adult anymore advice on the matter.
"Am sorry," he mumbled. Jack took the watermelon that Nightlight had offered to him before eating it. It wasn't so bad. It was sweet enough, he supposed. "Ya should stay here. Forget about me, am fine. Sides, least it won't get lonely around here," he smiled. "So are ya planning on skipping out on school today too? Because if ya're are ya can always help me unpack." It was by no means a fun activity to do. But maybe it would help take their minds off of a few things. "We can see what my parents packed. My money is on forks and spoons. Maybe a plate too," he laughed. They are was no way they would have ended up packing any of his things.
Nyctha nodded, he could start to notice how Jack started to change, seemed more drowsy. Jack took a sip from his juice as he listened to Northâs little ramble. He wasnât surprised about Mannyâs reaction. He was disappointed though that he hadnât gotten through to him at all. But as Manny had so wonderfully shown to him, he was just a dumb teenager after all. Jack watched as North placed his plate down on the table before smiling. âThanks.â He grabbed a bacon strip and began nibbling on it.
âManny blames me for what happened with Aster and Nightlight. Something about me screwing Nightlight or whatever. Mannyâs a blind idiot. Just happen to be observant. Doesnât mean am screwing anyone.â He rolled his eyes. He wasnât sure when caring about someone else meant they were having sex with each other. But he supposed it was just Mannyâs way of showing him that he never really cared about him in the first place. Jack would be lying if he said that he wasnât saddened by this thought.
He shook his head, deciding instead to think back to Nightlight. Jack briefly wondered if the other was still sleeping or if he was sulking like he was known to do. He fidgeted in his seat before taking his plate and leaving without another word. Jack had no idea where Nightlights room was. So he took some time opening and closing doors until he found one that was locked. He assumed that must be where Nightlight was staying at. Jack lifted his hand and knocked on the door.
âNightlight yaâre awake? If ya are, do me a favor and donât leave a cripple out in the cold yeah?â
âAster probably talking out his ass to Manny. Giving him ideaâs, he didnât once ask his son what happened when he saw the photo. Just drove Aster clean across town on a school night.â North cut up some fruit and toast putting it down besides Jack, already kinda having a feeling..in his bellyâŠJack was going to spend time with his nephew. Hearing the dishes move off the table he smiled, he didnât need to hear another word from Jack knowing actions tend to speak louder then words and this small action spoke loud.
Nyctha was in Northâs room, his room not completely set up yet so he was offered his bed last night while North took the couch. Hearing Jackâs voice he sat up, quickly wiping his eyes just in case as he stood from the oversized bed walking to the door surprised Jack was able to juggle the plates.
âHow are you able to juggle so much?â
Perhaps it was a fake smile to waive off Jackâs worries, or maybe it was real. He took some of the plates looking at the fruit and toast he felt touched.
âBreakfast in bed?â
He raised his brow, then laughed setting the plates on the bed as he adjusted the pillows so him and Jack could sit comfortable together.
âHow are you feeling?â
"Used to be able to juggle three balls at once. But that was when was a kid. Haven't done that in years. Pretty sure I can't anymore," he shrugged. Jack smiled as Nightlight took one of the plates before walking inside the room. "Why not have some breakfast in bed? North doesn't seem like the strict type." Unlike Manny, but he kept that thought to himself. Jack slowly sat himself down on the bed; he then took a pancake and bite into it. He hadn't bothered adding any syrup, mainly because he had forgotten. But it turned out being better this way. Since he can eat the pancake with his hands without getting himself dirty.
"Am fine. Mean still hurts to chew and chest pain is a bother. But better then yesterday," he shrugged. Jack continued to eat his pancake before he looked over at Nightlight. "So how did it go with ya dad last night. Guess not great since ya here and...well...North told me a bit about it. Not a whole lot but enough."
Nyctha nodded, he could start to notice how Jack started to change, seemed more drowsy. Tbh this movie was an actual masterpiece and work of art? Not to be dramatic or anything. Itâs just so visually stunning. I really liked it when the Easter bunny turned into a cute little baby bunny đ
I was OBSESSED with ROTG and HTTYD when I was in college andâŠ.still am lol.
