Why don’t you try some home work outs before you jump into a gym? :)
My house is pretty small so p much the only thing I could do would be stretches or crunches or something - they're all well and good but not really what I'm looking for and not much good by themselves! :(

just start going running or something (early in the morning or late at night so that the heat doesn’t absolutely kill you); you don’t need a gym to get healthy/fit :3
It's an idea but I'd probably not run, just go for long walks, my ankles hurt me something awful if do something high-impact like jogging or running a lot. I don't know if I'd be able to go out at night though, that's the only problem I can see with that
