This enchanting podcast has a unique perspective that gives an insight into the origins of fairytales. Personally I find the host’s psychological analysis of the true meaning embodied in the characters and settings of these tales to be frightful accurate.
Each episode also delves into the background of iconic tales like Bluebeard and Snow White amoung many others. Learning the all to real history of these fantastical tales reveals the both the beauty and horror humanity is capable of producing.
My personal favorite is the episode covering Little Red Riding good and phylogeny behind the tale’s ancient and universal roots. The last episode was realesed back in 2017 but I’m still hoping the creator will find time to continue her pursuit of these fascinating narratives.
