Day 11 of Thesis Marathon

I am nearly done with my literature review!! I am so happy with how it came along. Pomodoro method is helping me too. Also, Belgium blessed me with sunny and warm weather for the next week. It is so motivating to have the sun shining down on my notes and desk. I love it! 

Woke up late today but I was expecting that since if anyone is following politics around the world Turkey gone through a regional election and for the first time in 25 years my home city Istanbul is won over by the opposition party!! I am so damn excited for what the new mayor is going to accomplish! Yesterday was me celebrating in Belgium with my boyfriend so I went to bed late reading all the news and watching videos :D We are weird but that’s what happens when you are from a very political country.

Day 9 of Thesis Marathon

I am bad at updating this but I don’t take photos every time I study so.... It’s an habit I can not seem to develop. I finished 3 pages of my literature review, I think I will write 3 more pages and that will be enough. I applied to some jobs, let’s hope I get a reply back! I will start writing the mathematical model because it will take me sometime to figure out the right problem description. 

I am still going strong when it comes to healthy breakfasts and yoga. Howeveeeer, I have this consistent headache for the past 4 days. It’s like the muscles around my head is tired, like they worked out or something... I am pushing through!

11/04/2019 Day 4 of Thesis Marathon Went for a long walk with my boyfriend after doing a little bit of yoga. I am doing the 30 Days of Yoga challenge by “Yoga with Adriene” on Youtube. I like following that when I want to have a routine. I worked for 3 hours straight, read more papers for my literature review but this time I am very close to finishing collecting and reading papers. The picture with the graph is how I typically decode a mathematical model. It is so much fun! Now, I need to go to grocery shopping. I am out of bread and water… Yes I can not drink the tap water in Belgium. I think, even Belgians are not drinking it…
