My thesis advisor refuses to let me move further with my thesis before I read 50 papers for literature review. She wants me to compile them in a matrix and then and only then can we discuss where I want to go with this and how I'll collect data.
She's so hung up on this detail but I want to start writing and collecting data and maybe realizing half way I need to be adding or subtracting some parts and reading more papers in accordance...
Am I in the wrong here? I've just resigned from a full-time position at a toxic workplace after 1,5 years of working there and I've read 12/50 in the span of this time 🤦🏻♀️ I'm freaking out, will I have enough time to write this thing???
