Let’s live a little!!! #Repost @slowdown.tv ・・・ For this month’s #HandMarkingTime series of Stories, artist @shantell_martin draws a series of “May…” aphorisms, stemming from her “The May Room” installation on @governorsisland. Martin’s new book, “Lines” (@heni), is stocked at @spoonbillbooks and @artbook, among other booksellers, and a special edition can be found on her website. When I talk about spending time with my plants,a lot of that involves touching and feeling my plants. It is another way I’m able to communicate with my plants and vice versa. I think a lot could be determined by just touching the plants. I’ve gotten so used to it that now I can tell when a plant might need water based on touching leaves.
