Today I got to do be a #makeupartist to #myfavoritelady #mymama is shy of 67 and generally dusts powder all over and lipstick (thanks to @brauhaus.studio and @samanthavalentine she had a bit of #microblading ) other than that #Ruds is pretty relaxed. She has #thesoftestskin and takes care of her #beautiful #caribbeanskin (she's the reason Crane and I love #cocoabutter #coconutoil 😹) her eyes water constantly and eyemakeup irritates them so it was a light dusting of #makeupbymariopalette, tightlining on top lashline and some waterproof dark brown pencil liner and mascara. We went for a pea size amount of @fentybeauty #profltr foundation #trufflematchstix and peach #matchstix for just a smidge of #highlightandcontour Those who know my work know #iloveskincare and as a makeup artist I think highlighting #beautifulskin has really been sidelined. I'm all for a heavier hand if that's your preference (looking at you @nickolas_crane 😹) but there is something about still seeing #finelines #freckles and just #thatmelanin peaking through that always reminds me why I love this profession and artistry. She's worn #redlipstick since she first tried it and #lovesared to this day.
