I think I have a bit of luck sometimes. When we boarded the boat one of the passengers asked if we’d get to see dolphins. The captain said it’s a very small chance as they don’t appear often and she hadn’t seen them all week. . Well, as we drove back from the entrance of the sound he spotted a pod of baby dolphins! We turned around to follow from a distance. We watched as they jumped and swam towards some caverns. . As we made our way to a waterfall a pod of adult bottle-nose dolphins came right next to us! I was the only one at the back of the boat at the time and watched as people scrambled to the front to look at something. Then I looked beside me into the water and dolphins were swimming next to me. I looked behind and quickly pulled out my camera and luckily got some pics. . Photos aren’t perfectly framed but I was too excited. I made so much noise people started coming to the back of the boat and eventually I lost my quiet spot, but it was worth it. I was even closer to them than I was in Hawaii. And for a few moments it was just me and the dolphins. I can’t ever lose that. 😊 . Posted a video on my FB page.
