THE SPEED OF LIGHT A Theory by Terry David Silvercloud

A signal is nothing more than energy on the move. To be an effective signal, the energy but flow like a stream, or in packets. If it flows like a stream, we call it analogue information… smooth and continuous, or if in a packet, we call it digital… off and on signals.
Either way, signals are useless unless there is a detection system. For we humans, our detection systems lie in our skin, eyes, ears and nose. But, what are the actual detectors. In the case of a human, the detector is a body cell, sometime associated with a hair… the thing is, every signal needs an antenna to receive it.
Antennae work best when “in tune” with the signal. What that means is the antenna should be the same wave length as the signal… have the same TIME signature… i.e. the antenna should be the length it would take, IN TIME, to travel from one end of the antenna, to the other, in one complete wave. Or… another way, is to be exactly the same wave length, or so very close, IN SIZE/WAVELENGTH that it will begin to VIBRATE with the incoming signal… this is called RESONANCE.
The antennae of the body are located in the nerve cells of the skin, the tongue, the ear, and the eyes. You may be surprised to find they are approximately one micron in diameter… that is the wave length/frequency spectrum of light and heat… exactly the CORRECT size to detect THOSE SIGNALS… heat and light. Some people can see a slightly wider range of colours and feel a slightly wider range of things. Wave lengths SHORTER than light can cause damage to the skin (Ultra Violet) rays. And even shorter waves can cause damage if strong enough, and close enough, such as radio, X Ray, and Gamma Rays. They have the ability to destroy nerve connections and cells, themselves, which are made up of SMALLER parts called atoms and molecules. A molecule is an assembly of atoms that like being together on a permanent basis… water is an example. It consists of two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen molecule that can not be torn apart except electrically… using an electric current.
The skin needs only a large one micron dish to soak up infra red rays. It also soaks up all the other smaller rays… so watch out for sunburn.
The ears use a combination of surfaces and hairs attached to nerve cells to detect sound. Sound is NOT electronic… it belongs to PHYSICAL WAVES. Physical waves are prone to energy absorpbtion from waves both longer and shorter than its size… it does NOT depend upon resonance of the hair. The hair/nerve combination translates the physical energy into electrical energy with is sent BY ELECTRONS to the brain. Pain is not understood, at all… why we feel pain. We know it is the result of being exposed to wave lengths in the heat range of the electromagnetic spectrum, but PAIN occurs in the BRAIN. Colour, likewise, is interpreted in the brain.
Colour is a break down of the visible spectrum. Colour is individual frequencies… discreet frequencies associated with each colour. We like to say there are three primary colours… RED, GREEN, and BLUE, but there are a zillion hues and shades ‘in between’. Interestingly, there are three SECONDARY colours that also can be used to compose a full spectrum of the colour rainbow… these colours are cyan, magenta, and yellow. We use both systems of colour assembly… computer screens and projection systems with light use red, green, and blue, while printed systems… relying on REFLECTED light, use magenta, cyan, and yellow. Look carefully, with a magnifier, at the dot colours in a magazine and you will clearly see magenta, cyan, yellow, and black. The black is added to accentuate dark and shadows.
What happens in the human eye? We have TWO kinds of receptors… RODS and CONES. Now that is weird, isn’t it? Why bother with two when one antenna is usually good enough for signals… not quite. If you were born in the 40’s and 50’s you will remember TV antennae on roof tops. They would have a variety of different length pipes aimed in parallel rows, horizontally. As regards the TV antenna, they are aimed horizontally because the signal is somewhat directional, and they want the rods of the antenna to be lined up at exactly 90 degrees to the source signal for best reception. The TV signal is exactly a ratio of the length of the poles/pipes on the antenna… but shorter in a ratio of ½, or ¼, or 1/8th. Notice radio waves like being divided by 2, 4, or 8. This is to help them RESONATE with the signal and generate an electrical signal in the pipe/tube which is then amplified to produce the TV picture or radio sound. TV uses two circuits… an AM (amplitude modulated) circuit for the picture, and a separate radio FM (frequency modulated) circuit for the sound.
Your eyes need dual antennae too. Why? It’s mostly for efficiency. Rod cells are good at detecting LEVELS of light across the ENTIRE spectrum of light. They do not distinguish between colours, and can be MORE sensitive to light by being the exact wave lenght long as the entire visible light spectrum… about 600 nanometers.
The other detectors, in your eyes, are the cones. The cones, likewise, are about the length of the light spectrum… one micron maximum, but they are CONE SHAPED. Why? It has to do with the detection system for different colours. The cone shape makes the entire cell tuneable… the narrow top part of the cone is more sensitive to very short frequencies and will begin to vibrate/resonate before the LOWER part does… sending a signal to the nerve saying it is receiving very short (blue) light waves. If it is getting more of one frequency than another, it will send a combined signal. This is very much like a radio antenna which is as long as the longest waves, but the tuner can pick out shorter waves with filters. A filter, in a radio, is a coil, a kind of transformer. Coils, as Tesla figured out, can alter the frequency of a wave. It can also alter the voltage, at the same time. One must be careful not to confuse voltagte with frequency, but they are closely related. You don’t need high voltage to get a high frequency, but you need voltage to make that signal go anywhere… have strength.
Your eyes can not send information to your brain any faster than electrons can move, or spin. While it is not necessary for the electrons to move (direct current), the BA, the background energy, MUST traverse every electron, one electron at a time. It can move as fast as the voltage pushing it, but it CAN NOT be here and there without traversing each electron on the way. While the strings that are the BA are smaller, and are here and there FASTER than electrons, they are NOT physical to us… they are energy… stuff so small we can not detect it. In any case, a single BA can only be HERE and THERE as LARGE as it can be, but it is NOT a solid, liquid, or gas, to us. The smallest PARTICLE, moving at LIGHT SPEED reality, is the ELECTRON.
While, technically, the Ba are traveling FASTER than light, they appear to stand still, to us… to be a STANDING WAVE we call the electron… a solid particle in our reality. The electron is the first particle in the material world that has a half life long enough to be stopped in time, to us. The electron STOPS TIME… stops the BA to form standing waves we call matter. And we are made of matter. We are light speed creatures. We can see things moving slower than light… all around us in the physical world… things DELAYED IN TIME and traveling through space and time with us… matter is standing waves of BA to us.
