Unfortunately I do live with my parents :( My university is so close to home that it isn’t worth moving out. It’s a less than 10 minute drive.

Darn you and you reasonable reasons for staying with your parents. I made sure I was far away from both of my parents for school because no way in hell was I living with either one of them. 

I'm just not a hierarchy-in-the-home person. I mean, yes, adults should be in charge of their children or children they were directed to be in charge of, yes, that much makes sense to me. But adults trying to assert themselves needlessly over other adults in a non-business setting makes no sense and is just a recipe for resentment and disaster. 

I mean, for chrissake, if you own a house, and you don't like to clean it, and expect your guests to clean it for you, guess what? You're a lazy asshole who probs shouldn't own a house.
