Lol thanks. I knew it would probably generate some actual controversy when I posted it. I didn’t expect the accusations of racism, though, but it’s the internet so I shouldn’t be that surprised.

Anyway, Brother Bear and Tarzan freaked me out because of the deaths of Koda’s mom and Tarzan’s parents because I saw these films when I was like five or six. I think a similar thing applies to Treasure Planet, though I’m not sure. I always get a very claustrophobic feeling about that film which I don’t know what’s about. Dumbo was also kind of terrifying, and the same with the Jungle Book. You know those parents’ guides on IMDB that warn “some scenes may be overwhelming for small children”? Yeah, I was that child.
