Worsted weight yarn (4) in dark brown, yellow, and beige
An F crochet hook
6 mm safety eyes

Round 2: Inc in each stitch around (12)
Round 3: Inc in every other stitch (18)
Round 4: Inc in every 3rd stitch (24)
Round 5: SC around (24)
Round 6: *in FLO, sl st in next, HDC in next, 3 DC in next, HDC in next, sl st in next*, SC in both loops of next 7, repeat the FLO part from * to *
SC in next four (both loops), chain 6. SC in next five (the chain), FLO sc in next stitch. SC in next 2 (24 that will be worked into)
Now you'll start decreasing
Round 7: in all SC but tail and in unworked backloops, Dec across the third and fourth stitches (18)
Round 8: Dec in every 2nd and 3rd stitch (12). Stuff and insert safety eyes
Round 9: Dec around (6) finish off and close up.
Butter: chain 3 in yellow. Work 2 SC. Chain 1 and turn. Work 2 sc. Finish off and leave a long tail for sewing.
Syrup: in brown, make 6 SC in magic circle. Increase in every stitch to 12. Now, sl st in next stitch, 3 DC in next stitch, sl st in next stitch. Repeat this around. You should have four ooze points for the syrup. Finish off and leave a long tail.
Sew the syrup onto the ray, and the butter onto the syrup. Embroider a face with a smile and pink cheeks and you are finished!
