//Lucina would defintely see Chrom, her mother and her sibling, all happy and whole and alive, free from the threat of Grima. Along with the rest of her extended family.
//Ow. I love this. It’s so perfect!
Send me what you think my muse would see in the Mirror of Erised.
The mirror seemed to call Lucina from across the room, as she had been exploring. She sensed nothing malicious from it, so she approached slowly. As she saw her reflection, she let out an audible gasp. Her father was there with her, along with her mother and younger sibling. They were happy, healthy, and most of all, alive. When the mirror version of her father put his hand on her shoulder, she could feel it in real life. She could hear him saying, “I’m so proud of you, Lucina,” as the mirror version mouthed it.Tears began flowing freely from her eyes. This was what she was fighting for.
She then noticed Owain running from her aunt and uncle, who looked absolutely exasperated at his antics. And they were alive. There was no Risen, and best of all, no Grima. She was free. Somewhere deep down inside, she knew this was an illusion, but she did not care anymore. Her family was here with her, smiling and happy. The mirror version of her mother held out her hand, and mouthed the words “I love you so much Luci.”
Lucina began sobbing as she said the words, “I love you too Mother. I’ve missed you so much.” She tried to take her mother’s hand, but found that she was only touching the mirror. At least she could imagine. She had thought that she only wanted Grima’s demise, nothing more, but she knew now what she truly wanted. She wanted her family, safe and loving her. She sat down, surrounded by family, but to anyone else, she was only talking to a mirror.
