i totally get what y'all are saying about the malec storyline being rushed. I remember being confused at that scene where magnus says to alec "if anything were to happen to you" i was like.. huh? that's quite a thing to say to someone who you've spent a limited amount of time with lol. It was like they were actually in a relationship or something. however, i still do enjoy malec and even if i think it's rushed i'm enjoying their relationship so far, and maybe things will be better in S2?

I really, really want to enjoy their relationship, honestly, but I just can’t rn and it makes me so upset you have no idea. I really can only hope they will make everything better development wise, but I’m not holding my breath at this point.
