CHIREC in collaboration with The Teacher Foundation (TTF) organized a two-day interactive session on Project-Based Learning (PBL) for all the primary and secondary teachers on May 27-28, 2019. The sessions were conducted by Ms. Shreevidya Ramachandran, Ms. Diandra Pinto, Ms. Alokparna Das, Dr. Reeshma Suri, and Ms. Sandhya Shivaprasad. The facilitators helped the teachers explore the importance of PBL in the classroom and shared insights into a different way of imparting education in students by giving them real life situations and helping them find solutions using research, experimental learning, critical thinking, etc. The teachers learnt various techniques to assess and decide the learning outcomes of PBL through intense discussions and group activities.
