Jacob is pulling up to the Ranch in his pickup truck. Three whitetails....(deer, actual deer, not people) in the back of the truck. One has a darker fur, two are natural beige. One has a small rack, the other two have a decent size rack.
He is barking at some of John’s faithful to come over to help. “I’ve field dressed ‘em already.” Fed the hearts to Judge. His personal wolf in the back of his truck, waiting on the command to come out. “Ill skin them shortly.”
After getting that taken care of he stops to have a smoke before he goes in. “Looks like snow,” he tells Judge, rubbing his head with a heavy hand. The wolf makes a throaty sound and bumps his head against Jacobs side. “Should’ve checked the forecast before we came down...” but he didn’t, and he will have to live with the consequences.
Which probably include crashing at Johns place.
Before he goes to find his brother or ask for his presence to be announced to him, he goes to take a walk around the property, whistling his command at Judge to follow. The wolf happily leaps from the back of the truck to follow. Jacob checks on Affirmation in the hanger.
He’s inexplicably happy that his brother can enjoy a hobby like this. God knows it was impossible to do as a kid and probably not possible to follow the dream of becoming an actual pilot as obvious but John’s lawyer career path. He runs his hand across the sleek black frame of the plane. Bet John’s a terror in this thing, he thinks. Will have to try him out one day with Pack Hunter.
Next, he moves from the Hanger to climb up to one of the balconies from the outside. He is surveying the property from this angle. Looking for sniper nests that could be present in the future, looking for any changes made that could put John at a disadvantage, tactically, his mind moves to secure the location for his brother.
Finally, he slides down the ladder and gives a few quick orders to Judge before going inside to find his baby brother.
