It's one of those days where the sheer scope of everything they're trying to do weighs heavy. When the sight of Hope County shrinking in the distance as Nick flies higher and higher does nothing to ease his mind -- too busy lost in the endless convoys and blockades on the road beneath him.

They'd gone after another truck. They’d destroyed another silo. The recent enthusiasm from the Deputy's help reclaiming Fall's End had long since dwindled into stubborn ( and exhausted ) defiance, as Eden’s Gate seems to constantly pop back up from their losses.

At least the Rye’s have their home. At least they have each other. When he pulls Kim in a close embrace and feels the slight movement against her stomach, it’s a simple reminder that he can hold his entire world in his arms.

‘I’m damn proud of you,’ Kim tells him that night, the two ( three ) of them making no effort to get off the couch.

“Yeah, I’ve gotten really good at this, haven’t I?” Nick’s taken to rubbing her feet once he gets home. A quiet constant in the middle of all the fucking chaos their life had become.
