what i love about Cait is that she wasn't afraid to admit that she has fears. When asked if she would fare as well as Claire if she was jettisoned back 200 years she said she wouldn't. And I loved that. And during that interview Sam was staring at her while she answered. Almost as if this was the first time she was admitting this. so beautiful those two.

I hope you don’t mind if I publish this because it’s so, so true. I love that she’s not afraid to admit her flaws, which, in my mind, makes her even more flawless. She’s such a completely gorgeous soul, inside and out. She’s wickedly smart, kind, big hearted (in Sam’s words but the man speaks the truth!), funny, talented and incredibly grateful for the opportunities she’s had, including her modeling career. One of the things I’ve admired most about her is how she admits modeling wasn’t for her but she only ever speaks about how the experience positively formed her as an actress and a person. I think it speaks a lot to her character and inner strength. It’s a quality I’ve tried to adapt in my own life! She’s truly such an inspiration and a role model!

1. What is your biggest fear? Superficially, I think large bugs. More than four legs, I start to freak, tbh. More indepth, being forgotten or not leaving behind my ideas and that sort of thing in the world once I die.

2. Greatest accomplish in life so far?

I think I’m adulting mildly okay? Like moving from a very small town to DC and not completely floundering is an accomplishment. Also, I’m going to study abroad in like a month, so there are plenty of adventures and accomplishments to come. :)

3. Top 5 Actors?

These are partially talent and partially I just really, really like their faces?

Tom Hiddleston, Viggo Mortensen, Ian Somerhalder, Sean Maher, Jared Leto (Urban Legend is one of my favorite shitty movies tbh?)

4. All time favorite song?

I CAN’T PICK. SHAKE IT OUT BY FLORENCE AND THE MACHINE? HEAR THE BELLS BY VANESSA CARLTON?? GODS AND MONSTERS BY LANA DEL REY? THE KILL BY THIRTY SECONDS TO MARS??

5. Who was your very first celebrity crush?

Orlando Bloom!

6. If you could be anything in the world, what would you want to be?

A kitten! I get to sleep a lot and people would find my sassiness endearing!

7. How would you describe your own personal style?

Morticia Addams/hippy-dippy/if it looks like you’d wear it in a period piece I want it/casual cosplay

8. Honestly, who is someone in the public eye that you can’t stand?

Perhaps normally unpopular but currently totally normal: Taylor Swift. I’m not gonna lie, she puts out not bad music that I like to dance around to. But I often disagree with the things she has to say. So I just let myself enjoy her pretty fun pop music and try not to pay too much mind to things she says that might make me angry.

9. Do you want any pets?

A tabby cat named Belle and a dog (beagle, terrier, ??) named Lacy!

10. What is a weird thing you have/do collect?

My dad and I used to watch Psych together all the time, so any time we see a pineapple somewhere, we send each other pictures of it.  (In real life I sometimes use the fact that I RP for this question but that’s not weird on tumblr).

11. What is your biggest goal in life?

To be able to write as my profession, whether it is creatively as a novelist or to bring attention to the real stories that need told as a journalist.
