Tamagotchi Paradise Lanyards are Coming to North America, Feature English Packaging

That’s right, you heard it here first on Tama-Palace back in May, and now it’s all happening. Bandai confirmed that the lanyards would be making their way over to North America by the end of the year in time for holiday 2025. Bandai Namco US just showed off the two lanyards at The Toy Insider 2025 Holiday of Play event in New York City.

Julie, tolovelfromvine was in attendance and noticed that the Tamagotchi Paradise lanyards were on display at the booth, and something else was a bit different! The packaging for the lanyards was not in Japanese, but rather in English and French! If you remember from the Tamagotchi Uni, the packaging of the lanyard sold in North America was in Japanese, matching the one sold in Japan, but this time we’re getting the packaging localized!

Bandai Features Tamagotchi Paradise at The Toy Insider’s Holiday of Play

Each year The Toy Insider hosts the Holiday of Play event, which is a media event previewing the hottest holiday toys and games! Guests, who are typically media representatives or social media influencers can meet with representatives from several companies and get a first look of The Toy Insider’s Hot 20 list for the holiday season! The event was at herd on Tuesday, September 16th, 2025 at Current, Pier 59, Chelsea Piers, New York City!

The Tamagotchi team from Bandai Namco US did not attend the event, they’re busy on the Tamagotchi USA Road Trip, instead brand representatives from Beacon Media Group attended!

Our friend Julie, tolovelfromvine was in attendance and has shared all the details! Bandai Namco US showed off the new Tamagotchi Paradise, including demo units to play with, along with other Tamagotchi devices including Tamagotchi Original Connection, Nano, and merchandise of course! Furawatchi & Mongatchi Lab Stickers were also given out to visitors.

Oh, and if you brought your Tamagotchi Paradise you could connect to one of the demo units which actually was a researcher unit and had the exclusive items available for download!

Oh and do you see the Tamagotchi Paradise lanyards? They’re coming to North America real soon for the holidays. The booth even featured the tradition of a Tamagotchi cutover for a photo opportunity!

Bandai Namco US Shows off Tamagotchi Paradise at Sweet Suite 2025

The Toy Insider’s annual Sweet Suite event was held on Wednesday’s July 16th, 2025 at Pier Sixty in New York City. Bandai Namco was in attendance showing off the new Tamagotchi Paradise in a beautifully decorated booth. There was a photo spot where you can pose inside a pink land Tamagotchi Paradise. Both Tara Badie, Senior Brand Director, and Asaki Murakami, Product Development were in attendance.

We were really impressed to see that Bandai Namco US even had a rainbow balloon arch over one of the entrances, boss move! At the table, you could test drive the Tamagotchi Paradise as there were two pink land Tamagotchi Paradise devices that you could even connect together.

There was face painting of Mametchi, Meowtchi, Horhotchi, and Irukatchi provided to visitors, and they even handed out Furawatchi and Mongatchi Tama Lab Stickers!

Mametchi also made an appearance and spent some time greeting visitors.

The Toy Insider’s Marissa Silva Featured on “What do you do for a living?” With Tamagotchi Paradise

We’ve all seen these videos on social media, strangers on the street are asked what they do for a living, and of course it’s recorded for social media. Feroz Khan Zadran who hosts “What do you do for a living?” Ran into Marissa Silva, Editor-in-Chief of The Toy Insider. This must have been following the Sweet Suite 2025 event in New York City a few weeks ago. When asked what she does for a living, Marissa speaks passionately about her work, and she has a radiant personality!

Tamagotchi Paradise Lands Spot on The Toy Insider Hot 20 List

Big news, the Tamagotchi Paradise is already award winning! You might remember the Tamagotchi Uni earned a spot on the Hot 20 list back in 2023, and now the Tamagotchi Paradise has for 2025!

The category is ages 5-7 and of course the beloved Tamagotchi Paradise is hot! Featured in Blue Water shell, and a description promoting the zoom dial and docking connectivity. You can see the spread on page 5 of The Toy Insider Holiday Gift Guide and on The Toy Insider website.

The Tamagotchi Adventure Companion backpack is also featured on page 46.

That’s not all, in typical Bandai Namco US they’ve also purchased some advertisement space on page 55 where you can see the Tamagotchi Paradise, Tamagotchi Original, Tamagotchi Connection, Tamagotchi Adventure Companion, and Tamagotchi Collectibles Hobby Time!

Tamagotchi Original Celebration Egg and Tamagotchi Collectibles Poop Time Featured in The Toy Insider’s 2025 Spring Summer Gift Guide

Fresh off the press! Two very popular products have landed into The Toy Insider’s 2025 Spring & Summer Gift Guide. That is the Tamagotchi Original Celebration Egg which actually features recycled egg shells in there shell of the device, and Tamagotchi Collectibles: Poop Time which features adorable character figurines pooping inside of a Tamagotchi case that also includes a sticker.

Bandai Namco US Shows off Tamagotchi Uni, Connection, and Original at Sweet Suite 2024!

Back to New York for Sweet Suite! Bandai Namco attended The Toy Insider’s annual Sweet Suite event, which is an invitation only event for influencers and press to get their first looks at the hottest toys for the upcoming holiday season.

This year it was hosted at a new venue, The Glasshouse located in Hell's Kitchen.

Bandai has a lot to show off these days, and they sure did! First the Tamagotchi booth at the event is super cute booth that featured banners of both the new Tamagotchi Uni Angel Festival and Monster Carnival, was well as the Tamagotchi Connection 20th Anniversary. Talk about setting the stage for an incredible fall lineup!

Visitors were able to get some hands-on time with the new Tamagotchi Connection 20th Anniversary which connected to the table by wire, did not connect with others, and ran demonstration software that allows the Tamagotchi character to not die.

The latest Tamagotchi Originals were on display, along with the Tamagotchi Uni, both outside and inside their packaging. Bandai did show off the new Angel Festival, Monster Carnival, and Sanrio Uni’s! There was also a small display of both 50th Anniversary Hello Kitty Tamagotchi Nano shells.

Bandai was also handing out Tamagotchi stickers which featured Tamagotchi Original, Tamagotchi Connection, and Tamagotchi Uni on them. There was even a photo opportunity where you could take a picture in the screen of a Tamagotchi Connection 20th Anniversary True Friends Pack!
