you should compile a list of head canons for the star freckles on Marvin's face XD people seem to be losing their shit over them at the moment.

Welcome to the beginning *eyebrow wiggle*

Before Marvin’s magic properly kicked in, when it was no longer dormant, his glowing spots were just normal freckles and he hated them. They just didn’t look right, they were different shades, in strange places, they looked patchy since they were uneven, just everything about them was wrong and when they began to glow, he had to hide them.

Marvin still has some problems with his ‘freckles’ as Chase still calls them. Marvin doesn’t even have a name for them, their just the markings on his face that he feels like make him look like a freak. How do you blend in when you literally glow?

Chase had to wait years for Marvin to finally agree to take his mask off to show him his spots. Marvin actually started crying when Chase saw him, all of his fears and worry becoming overwhelming at that moment and they kept coming as Chase said how much he loved his little ‘star freckles’, pressing kisses against them and saying that they were the most beautiful thing he has ever seen. Chase is now the only one that Marvin will remove his mask for.
