Some early pages from my upcoming comic, The True Wheel. This is from the Prologue, set in England, but most of the action takes place in a fictional city in America named Dreamland, a once laid-back west coast city that, for some reason, is now choking on an endless influx on the rich, the poor, the bored, and the boring, and to the long time inhabitants, is quickly losing its charm.
Character designs for my comic, The True Wheel. It’s been an interesting couple of months fleshing out the story, but now that I have a through-line on the tension of the whole thing, I intend to take a more freeform approach when building the individual moments. As always, it comes down to the characters and the choices they make.
Should probably say something about how it’s a comic but whatever minimalism
Dreamland, USA. Come visit, don’t stay. #thetruewheel
