I’m practicing creepy stuff, and Miles Fairchild is always a perfect subject.
I adored The Turning, and I feel like we're all sleeping on the potential for it to turn into a found family tale where Kate rescues Flora, teaches Miles basic manners, asks Rose to help her raise 'em, and they renovate (and exorcise) the mansion together.
I know, not a lot of people liked the ending, but I interpreted it as more of a branching narrative than a linear one! It felt easy to choose which ending I wanted of the two, different timelines, and the first ending shown was really nice TTwTT
