I thought you guys could share my little camping excited moment.

"Anticipation Awakens Memories"

With growing excitement I think of the days to come.

clean air, fly fishing, solitude, dirt bikes.

the smell of the mountains.

crisp, fresh, unfiltered air, filling your lungs and satisfying you like ice water on a roasting summer day.

the sound of tent zippers, reminding you every morning of where you are, "wake up!" they say. "the

doldrums of life are left far behind, today life is different, today life is good."

a shiver of anticipation shakes my spine. 

I cannot help it, my reminisces have awakened an urge, and an excitement that is insatiable.

I walk outside to look at my dirt bike. It is not new, but an absence of riding it has made my anxious

excitement almost as great as if it had been.

it is night, and the air is clear and cool. 

I take a deep breath, tasting the oil and gasoline which permeates the air around my motorcycle,

combined with the intoxicating smells of a summer night, they form the air of my memories and for a

moment, I am perfect. 

for a moment I am in a clearing in the mountains, millions of stars above,

pine needles gently crunching under my feet. I can see my dirt bike and my tent, 

a stream tumbles over the rocks, forever whispering its call. 

and we are surrounded by mountains. 

Glorious, Majestic, mountains.

I was going through my sock basket today, and I was wondering what was taking up so much space because it’s always full yet I’m always looking for socks. I found 13 pairs of soccer socks in there, and 3 odds. Each sock is over 18 inches long.

No wonder.
