I just made a little square that I still have today. For some reason people recommend making pot holders as your first project, which is a TERRIBLE idea. There will be holes and it will be thin and you'll burn off all your fingers!
I’d think you’d have to line a potholder to make it heat-resistant. Maybe use the same shape but make it out of cotton and use it as a washcloth?

I would buy a pattern cause I have too much cool fabric I need to use
OMG me too! And you know what, check out google for some free patterns! This one I got online that I just adjusted to what I need. The only downside is that the patterns dont have the clearest instructions so you have to have at least some sewing experience, but they’re free so it’s hard to complain!

I've made these "dumpling style" (flat) but I love the bucket bottom! They are awesome and it looks like you've done the handles really well (stupid trickiest part IMO)!!
YESSS! The handles were so hard! And I decided to use the handle opening as the hole that I push the whole bag through (to make them reversible) and boy was that hard to accomplish.

THAT SHEEP ONE OHMYGOSH
I saw that fabric and went a little nuts... I bought 4 meters of it. 6 bags so far, and I can hardly part with them!

I would be super interested in getting one of these for my mom! She loves taking her knitting everywhere and this would definitely help with that
Good to know! I’ll post a few in Etsy (I’m thinking of doing 2 bags for 25$ + shipping maybe?) and keep some for a future giveaway! :)
