The Kiss of Fire
It had taken a few months for her to get to this point. For her to be able to travel on her own without excruciating pain. The healing process had been slow, for Allesandra had not wished to take her beloved Santino's blood for herself. He had offered, of course, but she had declined. Though he was strong, she knew that she would need blood even stronger than his to recuperate quickly. So she had waited, bided her time, drinking from mortals to attempt to speed her healing process. This was not the first time she had tasted the Fire's Kiss, it was not even so bad as the last time either.
But the months of pain had lead her here, to this hidden community within the vampire realm. A community that only a select few who were invited even knew existed. There were whispers as she came into the community. It had been one of their number who had found her when she woke... returned her to her sanity, and brought her here. She wondered if Bianca were here. But she walked straight-backed, even if it caused her great pain to do so. She did wear a clean dress that rubbed all the wrong ways against her charred flesh, and her hair had slowly begun to grow back, though it was still rather bedraggled from being burned as well. Finally, she came to the great room where her intended target was located. She moved forward, all eyes on her, and stopped before the ancient.
"Sevraine... I have come to ask for your aid... I need a safe place to heal. I have spent the last few months with Santino, until I was able to come here... you know of my Santino," She gave a small, strained smile through her pain. "He helped me. Saved me, and helped to bring me victims so that I could recover. But I dare not continue my stay with him... my presence could put his life, and the life of his Beloved in danger. I do not wish that... would you please allow me safe harbor here?"
