The most logical follow up to a Killing Heidi career run is the next project of the Hooper siblings, The Verses, with their 2010 album Seasons. There’s enough familiarity in @ella_hooper’s vocal work that it feels a little like a continuation, but whereas their last project was this luminous pop rock, Seasons is a warm and folksy alt rock jam, with some sounds evocative of The Clash. It doesn’t disappoint in any way, shape, or form, and I highly recommended it. Highlight tracks include Still Come Around, Want Everything, Never Knew, Running Away, and Midnight.
