    a SHOT rings out in the air, one of his heavy axes falling to the ground with a shaking thud. draven grins widely, taking a half-step back and allowing for his weight to shift back onto his heel. impressive! the masked bastard shot his axe straight out of the air!--- better not have dented it. he might just have to tear him apart with his bare hands if that’s the case. 

     draven whistles, spinning his remaining axe around in his hand before stilling it.     ❝ check you out! nice shot, bro--- i could’a taken your head off with that. ❞     he laughs, waltzing over to the discarded weapon and ripping it back up from the dirt.      ❝ hope it’s not scratched--- you know how expensive these are? you owe me if it is.❞

Danger, deception, and murder descend upon a sleepy country town when a professional assassin (Anson Mount) accepts a new assignment from his enigmatic mentor and boss (Oscar® winner Anthony Hopkins).

Given only where and when along with a cryptic clue, the methodical hit man must identify his mysterious mark from among several possible targets, including a local sheriff (David Morse).

Meanwhile, a chance encounter with an alluring woman (Abbie Cornish) at the town’s rustic diner threatens to derail his mission in this noir-style cloak-and-dagger thriller.

The carnage on the ground made her want to vomit. She was used to death; it was a part of life, and without death, there wouldn’t be life. Still, it sickened her to the point where her complexion was pale and her lips were trembling. She looked away to keep her lunch down.
