and it was upon the war torn fields, with the triumphant cries of noxian soldiers ringing in his ears and his brother darius no where in sight, that draven had never felt more ALONE.

//this piece is basically baby draven back when he was still a soldier. i like to imagine it was his last battle before leaving the military and he’s kinda realizing that war isn’t for him. he’s sad.

he stands there in the room , the two of them for the first time the only people in it . marcel usually stuck to himself , or to his matron , and never once seemed to get alone with anyone else before now . it is not something he did on purpose , it just seemingly happened this way ; he isn’t complaining , fingers treading the leather of the unoccupied chair while he looks at him a bit daringly . he knew his place was below him , but he leaves his back straightened out and moves his mouth to show a smile just as daring as the look he gave him . the only person he dared to show his fear to was the matron , her vice grip the only thing that could bring him to stop , but he feared him as well . ❝ if you do not take demands , do you make them ? ❞ his throat feels dry as he asks this of draven , swallowing a little heavily . for a first one on one interaction , he feels like it is not going particularly well for him . of course he realizes draven made demands , but the double entente is left there in the open air for him to figure out . better left unexplained , in a world of double meanings and double crosses .

an axe is thrown with deadly precision; the thing humming with power, spinning in the air for a moment before impaling itself in the wall. a HAIR’S distance away from marcel’s skull, the weapon’s song is cut short, a BOOMING thud the pounds into the other man’s ear. a vicious grin spreads across draven’s lips, calloused fingers poised in the air from the throw, before returning to his side.

❝ that’s the life of the rich and famous, bro. ❞ draven hums, striding over to the other man and resting his hand upon the handle beside marcel’s head. ❝ i got the money, which makes me powerful. plus, i don’t mean to brag, but i’ve got FAMILY in the trifarix. ❞ he licks across a sharp canine, flashing brilliantly white teeth in a smile before ripping the blade from out of the wall.
