I had a thought today 

Tommy was the first person Jonas suggested to be a Young Avenger. And in his own quiet way he insisted on Tommy. It could have been because Tommy as the most powerful or because he was the closest. Or they could convince him to join them faster because it would get him out of jail.

Personally I don’t think it was any of those reasons. I think Jonas looked through the files, and saw Tommy’s juvie medical records, saw the experiments that he was going through and decided that they needed to get him out of there. That this was wrong and they needed to fix it.

Tommy was the first person Jonas saved. And Tommy will always be grateful to him.

Tommy booted up his laptop with a smile. Cassie was back, so the others would have no objections to him giving Jonas a choice. He slipped the chip into the slot and waited for it to register.
