Billy: And yet you still haven’t cleaned your room?
Tommy: Fuck. You.
It just occurred to me that depending on when VisionQuest is set, Tommy could be mere days, weeks, or months old. Billy had 3 years in his new body before the events of Agatha All Along, but Tommy was in limbo for those 3 years. He was only just put into a new body, and not much time can have passed for Vision to be seeing him at a police psych ward describing the lost family he’s looking for. The authorities most likely got their hands on him rather quickly, considering he is a lost homeless teen presumed dead, and the comics established the Shepherd home life as quite abusive.
So while Tommy may look like a teen, he is literally still a baby. And Billy is actually the older twin now.

Keep seeing people talk about Tommy/the twins’ relationship with Vision because of the VisionQuest trailer which is. ngl kind of annoying me but if that’s the direction they’re going in the mcu sure but it is REALLY pissing me off to keep seeing people say they hope mcu synergy kicks in and now the twins will have an actual relationship w Vision in the comics. Okay well I hope they don’t. I hope they never do. They do not gaf about him in the comics literally at all. He is completely unimportant to them as people they do not care about him and he equally does not gaf about them. They have literally never spoken on panel. They don’t care about each other. They have never cared about each other. The only reason Vision is even there at Billy’s wedding anniversary family dinner is because he’s kind of their mom’s boyfriend again. They have never cared about him they have never been interested in him they have never spoken to him THEY DONT CARE. And I hope it stays that way!! They don’t have to!! They don’t have to and he doesn’t either and he never has!! They are not interested in a relationship!! Like sorry man but the twins already had a Vision in their lives and he died horrifically in front of them when they were sixteen and they’ve never gotten over it. Jonas was the only Vision they were ever interested in knowing they do NOTTT gaf about getting to know their kind of dad. Like they just don’t care and neither does he because he has a kid actually and he is happy with his daughter he does not want to get to know these boys who are barely his kids at all and are not interested in him back. Like seriously guys. Cmon

TOMMY NATION! EIGHT WHOLE EPISODES WITH TOMMY! I don't think he's gotten 8 consecutive appearances since Young Avengers Vol 1
Edit: ....he didn't even have 8 consecutive issues in either Young Avengers volumes but he was in 9 issues of Avengers: Children's Crusade.
VisionQuest is giving us Lisa????? Lisa Coat of Arms????? Incredible. Amazing. Fantastic. They're using the only character we have ever seen from Tommy's backstory and I am so here for it
