ghost, ever observant and silent prowling soldier. lurking in the shadows, taking note of everyone and everything. always analyzing, always diligent. a well trained dog. it works in his favour for the most part. most parts consisting of being a good soldier. to be the scary. to scare. when he looks into the eyes of another, he almost expects the slight spark of fear to grow within them. likes it even. the skull mask and the fear it ensues. his eyes dark and hidden beneath. he likes the power he feels. the space it puts between them. him vs enemy. a strong and crafted unit. until he isnt.

once he met your eyes the power was stolen. he doesnt know what you did to him. wondering what spells you cast upon his mind to hold him there. in your orbit. the look he finds within your deep eyes scare him, but hes almost thankful. to feel something other than the anger. clings to the fear. obsesses with it even. doesnt know what to do with the feeling or if it was your intent. but you managed regardless. when you first glanced up at him he was stuck. almost waiting, expecting the usual flicker of fear, fake niceties, escape plan. he sees the others thinking it, wanting to break free of his presence. 'weak' he thinks of them. not you. you look deeper. deep enough he has no choice but to render his full attention to you. gaz tries to introduce you proper but goes ignored by the both of you. both of you caught in a staring contest as johnny cheekily spat. you felt it was more of an understanding passing between you. a warmth. his beefy build hovering so close. the air around you both getting thicker. you didnt know the six foot four military tank staring you down. but yet, you could see him in there. all alone. he stared back finding you just as lonely. you see his eyebrow furrow a little under the mask he presents with. shaking his shoulders and losing a bit of tension, he reaches out a hand. "'evening love. names simon." simple. direct. just like his gaze. you give him your name along with your hand, just to hear him whisper it back to you with a calloused brush over your knuckles. he can feel you trembling in his hand. hes scared hes making you uncomfortable. but hes also too scared to let go. hes scared youll ask him to leave, just as much as hes scared youd ask for him to stay. hes scared to make you fear him. hes more scared however of never trying. of never tasting you. the flavour of your skin, the smell of your hair, the musk of your lust. hes scared of the power you possess over him even having just learned his name. hes scared of your mind. of your soul. your love. scared he doesnt deserve it. but could. he can deserve it right? your soft eyes and soft skin. if hes good right? he can be useful. he screams in his head for you to see it too. he may be scared of you knowing him. but hes more scared of never knowing you. hes scared. but hes hungry. and one thing about that trained mutt.. it will earn its meal, and then savour it.

while you may be scared of the unknown. youre not scared of the silent giant whos holding your hand and your gaze with such reverence. you know looking deep into the dark abyss hes struck you in, you could ask for the sun and hed find a way to bottle it just for you. only you.. maybe its worth being a little scared. the unknown is what leads you to things youd never known otherwise. no?...

I need to start yapping about my Senti expy or else I’m going to implode

Here’s her lore

Sentience is a strange woman who was born on a now nonexistent planet. This planet once inhabited an advanced telepathic society that put all of their resources on studying and destroying the boundaries of the mind. Sentience is the reason why the planet is no more. She basically unlocked a part of her mind that she wasn’t supposed to, which led to the erasure of the entire planet.

She then was floating in space for a bit before ending up on a Xianzhou ship. She then (eventually) met the Marshal, who sympathized with her, gave her food, shelter and a position in the Xianzhou Alliance. Sentience, not knowing how to handle this, immediately fell in love with her and considered her hospitality as a marriage proposal.

Nowadays, no one really knows what she is or what she does for a living. But, she’s gained infamy for her hobby of physically and psychologically torturing those she dislikes. She’s also known for being a very unpleasant person.

Fun facts:

Design:

-the spikes on the side of her head are horns. They appeared randomly after the planetary incident.

-She’s MASSIVE compared to most Xianzhou residents. Not only is she pretty tall (like 6’4) but she’s also buff.

-She covers one of her eyes to avoid any accidental mind reading or mind control.

-She constantly has a thousand yard stare. She is unaware of this and cannot control it. Speaking of her eyes, she actually doesn’t have any. Her “face” is actually some sort of mask. Her real face has been obscured by the Enigmata.

-Her hair has been tied back because her luscious locks can get in the way of combat I guess

General:

-She hates a lot of people including most of the generals. Feixiao in particular because she’s allegedly a copycat.

-She’s good friends with Yunli. They bond over their liking of weapons. She often asks her about how her weapons feel.

-Speaking of weapons, Sentience has an entire arsenal at her disposal. She usually uses a sword, a spear, a whip, chains and a brick. (Along with her telepathic abilities, of course)

-Shes the type of person who resorts to violence when any situation pops up. In combat, she can easily get carried away due to her bloodthirsty nature.

-She calls and flirts with the Marshal every once in a while. She loves her a lot

-She has her own domain expansion thing going on. (She calls it her sentient space.)

-Despite the outfit and name, Sentience is far from ladylike. She manspreads when she sits, she yells a lot, she’s impatient as hell, I can go on.

-Finally, she’s married to the Marshal. They have a bunch of pet chickens.
