Unfortunately Isa @thewales and I seriously looked into making the trip but honestly it’s quite expensive ($2-3k in flights and accommodation only) and not entirely worth it for a short (1w) visit where we maaaaaay see William. Especially considering that KP rarely announces events in advance and it’s very unlikely well even know where he’ll be/what he’ll do until the week of

Plus we’re both Caribbean so ofc Rio is RIO and so beautiful but also not on the top spots of our bucket list because we’d prefer more exotic (to us) places 💔

Did you mean Vanessa “Vlow”? The anon said “flower crowns” to describe what they thought Catherine and Charlotte might wear—it wasn’t the most specific description, very vague, so if Vanessa assumed natural crowns like at the wedding then that makes sense. I wasn’t really talking about her reaction; I’m not responding to someone with “In a disrespectful way: Why don’t you shut up?” like someone that reblogged did when we all knew the coronation would be scaled-down and they were literally just sharing their opinion based on what we knew about the dress code then.

They were right because describing what they wore as flower/floral crowns wasn’t incorrect. That was the design of the headpieces.

According to Becky’s new article no tour for Kate this year either 🥴 although nothing is ruled out like they said last year. Oh also no tour to Australia. But a tour to the USA for fifa (I suspect Kate and the kids might join this) and India for Earthshot is happening. A repeat of last year basically.

I really don’t like the direction they are going in. The only tours confirmed are representing his own interests. There has been no tour to Australia in 12 years and Canada in 10 years. But once again a US visit. William’s modern monarchy is basically him doing what he likes when he likes it. And oh Harry and Meghan’s security might be reinstated so they will be back every few months. They also plan to go on “humanitarian trips” so yay for us. Another shit year it seems.

What I “love” about this article is that it completely acknowledge Markle is a bully who has sent people intro “long term therapy” or made them not be able to live with themselves and who is vengeful as all fuck - but still somehow she is mostly wonderful and everyone bullied in BRITAIN is not to be believed.

I think the most telling word of the whole piece was “revanchism” which is the one word a lot of people wont understand - it means retaliation; settling the score.
