I know you might love to read the comments on your videos but I would suggest that you do not. At least until you've played a good amount of DA2 and you're really into the story and the characters, because the discussions are getting ridiculous and I don't want them to influence your opinion on a character or in the way you are playing the game.
I do love reading comments! And I very much appreciate your concern, but the negativity surrounding spoilers is honestly more worrying to me. People have been very jumpy concerning spoilers in DA2, to be honest. Which I appreciate, even though it might concern specific things that either won’t affect the LP or are relatively minor things.
If it soothes you, I generally just don’t read conversations/comments that seem spoilery. What might be concerning to me personally is stuff like the vitriol certain characters seem to attract. That’s a bit distracting, so to speak, since it adds a weird meta-layer of knowledge that I’m currently not a fan of.
I appreciate the message and your concern, though you needn’t burden yourself with it. I’ll manage! c:
Clumsy!! Big fan, right here <3! I just wanted to pass by and give you some advice, since you're getting closer and closer to Dragon Age 2, mostly regarding the approval system: Do Not be afraid of the red side of the approval bar, in this case red doesn't mean bad, it just means a different kind of relationship with the character, and I would even suggest that you mix it up, go red with some, go blue with others... ((To Be Continued...))
((Continues Here....)) …The only thing that matters is that you have to reach a 100% to one side or the other, locking the approval there, meaning that when a character has been locked on red, no matter what you do, they won't go back to blue and vice versa. If you don't lock a character in one side bad things will happen. Believe me; you do not want them not locked on a color. And that’s it, soooo keep being the best Let’s Player I have ever watched and I love you <3 <3 <3!!
Hey you!!
Thanks for the info! I actually skimmed the leaflet for DA2 and the new Friendship/Rivalry system definitely stood out. But I’d no idea that you had to lock them in! Thank you so much for that information, it’s really nice to know.
You’re too kind, dear! I hope you have a great day and that you’ll enjoy the LP when it starts! ☼
thewalkingtardis replied to your post: Sorry, Staff. You’re not allowed to do...
No, they’re just making utterly stupid jokes about it. Or..at least I sure hope their jokes.
The one I just reblogged was not a joke, apparently... I went on the person's blog and they are getting harassed and such which I don't think is needed whatsoever but
i just

This is pertaining to the gifset of that person running out of the van~ But I personally think it was a girl, but I thought that he only had like two or so women whom he trusted. I really want to know who that is too!
Sorry for the late response, but this got missed somehow! The figure definitely seemed more feminine than male to me as well. I am pretty stumped because, if I recall correctly the girl with the compound bow that Andrea was one watch with died in the assault on Woodsbury.
I wonder if we will ever know. I mean, they went to great trouble not to show a face or any revealing, recognizable characteristics - but yet that could also be explained away as padding and protection for crashing through the gates in the van and taking on zombie town.
Do you think Rick will ever recover from how his is right now? Wandering around confused and seeing his regrets?
This is an interesting question. Trauma, grief, and loss are complex and very personal things that differ in severity and substance from person to person. So, if I had to give an answer I would say: yes and no.
I think he will recover - as much is he can. I think that eventually we will see the return of leader!Rick but it is never going to be the same as it was before. Never. Lori and Carl were the only two things that were really anchoring him to reality and fueling his will to survive and make the best life that they can in this new age. And like a ship that has lost one of it’s anchors, Rick is drifting.
I think things will change, and eventually things will get better. But I think that the ghost of Lori, both physically and metaphorically will always haunt him. I think that every once and a while he will catch a glimpse of her in the corner of his eye as he looks out across the field. Or swear that he heard the sound of Shane voice echoing down the corridors.
The kind of regrets that Rick has are the ones that stick with you. And Rick is just a good enough person to let them.
