i dont even know
Don't trip.
I was walking back from lunch and I was walking kind of fast because we had like 10 minutes until class started and I really had to go to the bathroom and I'm walking through the freshman hallway and this teacher says to me "Don't trip." I kind of just stand there for a second, but then I'm like "Thanks...?" And he says "Don't trip." And I just stand there. "Don't trip. Don't trip. Don't trip." Is this some sort of Doctor Who joke..? "Don't trip. Don't trip. Don't trip." At this point, I would have thought he was some sort of mental patient that somehow got into the school and was going to pull out a gun any second, if I didn't recognize him. "Don't trip. Don't trip. Don't trip." He's a math teacher, one I've been told is impossibly hard and his students don't even pay attention in his class since they can't understand him anyways. "Don't trip. Don't trip." If I don't get out of this now, I'm going to be late. "I-I'm sorry, I don't get it..." I stutter, backing away slowly. "Don't you remember?" he says. "When you walked across the stage? You were the first, A. A.?" Now I know he's talking about the upper school introduction ceremony. He thinks I'm a freshman with the initials A. A. "I'm a sophomore..." I mutter, and I walk away. At this point, I couldn't tell if I was laughing or crying.
