❝ Shit, this place is packed. Thank god I got a reservation. ❞

Oliver stood in line to confirm his reservation. There was large families all together in this Italian restaurant. Someone had told him about this place but he can't remember whom. No matter, he was going to see his sister after several weeks of her not being in New York City. Maria was out saving the world, one conduit at a time, and barely had any time for her younger brother. But tonight she promised she would come and they could finally catch up. Maria was the only family member left that stood in contact with him, despite his brother but he showing up was even less.

He was the only one waiting here alone, everyone else seemed to have family or a lover. But Oliver was confident his sister would show, she had promised after all. He showed no proof that he was lonely. The people in front of him were seated and soon enough it was his turn.

❝ M-y-ers. It's under Myers. ❞

The young man behind the counter booked through the list for the name and then rose up with a smile. He was quite handsome.

❝ This way sir, table for two. And may I ask if you re having a lovely date this evening, for we can serve you a especially for that. ❞ The handsome man asked him, leading him to his table.

❝ No thank you. It's just family tonight. But I'll keep that in mind the next time I'll have a date. ❞ Oliver responded as he was seated down.
