This was the first time ever that Frannie was doing this. Paying someone to fake date her for a night. But, well, her dad had just divorced her mom and he thought she was happily dating some lawyer she’d met in college. She wasn’t, they had broken up months ago when she found him cheating with some floozy. Not like she didn’t know he slept around, but she could pretend if she didn’t see. Not once she’d seen it though, so she dumped him. And now she was paying a guy. How the mighty had fallen.

♚ Do you agree with fandom interpretation of your character?

I guess not? I agree with some fans but I guess not with a fandom at large. 

Most fans that ship Faberry, for example, think she bullied Rachel because she had feelings for her, which I don’t agree with. I think she did it because Rachel is everything Lucy should have been (strong enough to ignore bullying and keep being herself, being proud of how she was, not ashamed etc). Quinn wanted to tear Rachel down just to prove to herself she hadn’t been weak when she changed herself to be popular. But Rachel kept being herself, not only that but won Finn over without changing, and that made Quinn angry. 

Then there’s a part of the fandom that thinks she’s a bitch, which I agree, and has no redeeming qualities, which I don’t agree with. They think she’s a bad person that’s out to make everyone unhappy, someone selfish that only thinks of herself, which can’t be furthest from the truth. I think she’s caring and loving and once you win her over she’s someone you want on your corner because she’ll make sure you’re ok. 

So, you know, I don’t think I completely agree with any part of the fandom but I don’t think I’m alone in my interpretation of Quinn either.
