Hey, I saw the asks about the Rite in the Rain notebooks. I'm a field biologist and I highly recommend the notebooks, especially if you are going to be around water/mud/etc. We use them all the time when we're out doing field surveys. I have literally had mine tossed into a lake and when I fished it out, it dried out and was just fine. I would recommend using pencils over pens and grabbing a good eraser. It does take a bit more effort to erase marks compared to regular paper.

Sorry if I kinda restated the obvious. This one of my favorite scenes in all of books. Its kinda mushy, but my brain is convinced that Jamie loves Claire so much that after he dies, he just can't leave the world without making sure that Claire is okay (and eventually back on track to meet him again), so he waits around until he's sure that everything works out. Kinda like Rory from Doctor Who (when Amy gets stuck in the cube). Also, I love your blog! The pictures always make me smile :)

I've seen a couple of questions/comments about Jamie watching Claire's window. If you're referring to the scene in the first book, its implied that this is Jamie's ghost. Frank comments that he thought he might have seen a ghost, since "Jamie's" clothing wasn't reacting to the inclement weather and that he should have felt a bump when "Jamie" pushed past him. Frank also noted that the person seemed to vanish when he turned to follow him. (Pages 20-23 in my online version)
