New Story Summary
Okay as everyone can see, the title is a work in progress, however the plot- is for the most part finished.
It’ll be a slice-of-life story set in a pandemic many years in the future. (Similar to the one we are currently experiencing, but in a later stage and more danger) Everyone is in quarantine and being kept at home by military force, with soldiers in the streets and drones in the skies. The virus that is spreading can stay dormant for weeks, but once the symptoms start, victims tend to die in a matter of days, but the corpses are... abnormal.
The main character is a girl named Harper. She’s young, having just moved away from home after reaching the legal age of adulthood. When the virus started becoming widespread, her roommates went home to their families. Her parents were going to come stay with her, but weren’t able to make it before it was declared that everyone needed to stay in their homes. She’s alone.
Shortly into her quarantine. her neighbors disappeared, the house next door suddenly empty, despite the car in the driveway. She becomes more alone than she already was, but the feeling of isolation doesn’t last long.
A wild-eyed girl breaks into her neighbor’s home and sets up camp, which is where the story really begins.
