Jonathan dropped the book onto his lap as a flash of dark hair and freckles tackled him on the couch. He glanced down to confirm: the culprit was indeed Stanley. 

Smiling, Jon placed the book away and pulled the smaller man into his lap, hugging him back tightly.

When Jonathan calls Stanley 'my Universe', 'my galaxy' etc, he's not really just doing it to see him get all blushy.

Jonathan is (like most Vichtells living on Earth) very space centric and since Stanley's underlying theme is based on outer space — eg exploding into an actual galaxy when he does miracles , being very fascinated with it, reacting to space themed flirtations and having been an actual god once upon a time — Jonathan has started to associate him with space itself.

In other words, his soul feels at home when they’re together.
