I was supposed to be going back to work April 3rd but that's not happening. No clue when we'll open at this rate and it's stressing me out. I've had major winter depression this year and just as it starts getting warm this shit happens. @_@ But I'm dealing.

asdfasfaa I am so sorry ;__; We’re in like, not lockdown but close to lockdown until April 8th. I know you work in the hotel industry I can’t imagine this isn’t hit hard by that :(

I think going for walks is okay? as long as you’re by yourself and it’s not crowded? But *hugs* if you want them

im in washington (the first cases in the us were in my county) and my mom works at a senior center where they've had at least 3 confirmed cases, so we're all quarantining, and beyond that i got laid off for a min of two weeks so i might be homeless by the end of this. all in all, super fun trip so far, but id like to get off the bus anytime now.

i rly hope this doesnt come across as weird (if it does pls ignore it) lol but i just finished my yearly reread of all of yours and heathers fdtd fics and theyre just *chefs kiss* perfect, amazing, beautiful, life changing, ive been reading them since like 2015 and they just get better every time. you actually inspired that r/s playlist, and most of my graphics. i cant thank you enough for your service and dedication to the fdtd fic community, you're truly an MVP and it needed to be acknowledged

It’s not weird at all! i’m honored and humbled honestly, I don’t think of my fic as that great or special and it means so so so much to me to hear you say that. Truly. I LOVED THE R/S PLAYLIST. I loved the Richie one too, I’m just flightly and left my reblog for it in my drafts adfasdfa I’d love to see more graphics from you and I’m really happy to inspire you, or anyone, to continue making content, edits, graphics, mixes, fic, for FDTD fandom. Any time I see content on my dash I didn’t make, my heart grows all warm. 

I’m kinda sad a little, to be honest--I don’t think of myself as having stopped writing fdtd fic, those characters and their voices are easiest to slip into when writing fanfic and free writes, but I’m focusing on either exchange fic, or fic for the IT fandom now. But I love From Dusk Till Dawn; the fandom’s hey day was stressful for me for various reasons but I’ve never felt as home in a canon and I’ve never felt so truly connected to a canon as I do with FDTD. This is still a From Dusk Till Dawn blog first and foremost and always, even if my fandom attention wanders

I’ve made like,,,, almost 20 richie/Seth edits alone in the last week during my reread. I wanted to tag you but I was afraid it would be weird lol I’m very much a lurker and it’s hard for me to reach out to ppl, but I really just had to thank you. I honestly aspire to write anywhere near as well as you do, let alone have the courage to post it haha. And I love it when your fandom attention wanders bc it introduces me to new and amazing things. Yet another thing to thank you for lol

Please feel free to tag me! <3 I may not always notice, but I definitely don’t always see your edits now, and that makes me a lot sadder--my sleep schedule is a mess, I’m constantly running around in real life and I work overnight shifts--so I’m not on tumblr as much as I used to be and I have a hard time keeping track of stuff. I’d love to see your work more often (also 20 EDITS SOBS THATS AMAZING TBH). 

and oh my gosh thank you!!! <3 It means a lot to me that my wandering fandom attention does inspire people to get into things! and Honestly, I am always a little terrified to post fic; I always nervous about putting myself out there. So if you’re scared, that’s normal but I still encourage, I would love more fic to read (though tbh for the longest time I never checked the ao3 tags for fic because it was new seth/kate fics every day and...nothing I’m interested in, sigh. It’d be interesting to see more variety)

4. Movie of the year? (also asked for by anon)

So I would have answered Everything, Everywhere All At Once or perhaps Elvis if you asked me earlier this year but then I saw Bones and All (the source of my icon and new blog title) and it rewired my entire brain and became my entire personality. That’s my movie of the year.

8. Game of the year?

I haven’t played many games this year so The Quarry was an interesting discovery but I wouldn’t say it’s game of the year so…I think Dead by Daylight wins because I’ve probably played it the most. I’d go long lulls in not playing it then fixate on it for weeks. 

14. Favorite book you read this year?

My Heart is a Chainsaw by  Stephen Graham Jones is fantastic. It's a horror novel about what it means to be a final girl from the perspective of a native american queer protagonist with a lot of trauma and a love of slasher films. I LOVE HER. I also started Gideon of the Ninth but I’m only about half way through because I have focus issues but it’s great so far.

i super appreciate that but i'll survive <3 <3 and honestly im pretty sure that even if my mom does get sick she'll scare the virus off before it can hurt her lol so im not super worried about the disease itself, its mostly just how everyones reacting to it ya know? its literally an episode of black summer outside rn and its insane

This is not weird at all! Sorry I took so long in responding, I got this ask while I was at work and I put it in my drafts to answer... and promptly forgot. But I am really, really glad you like my fics! I hope someday I’ll finish some of my WIPs for that fandom.
