Yeah. Though from what I get even the old French spelling is suspect. Like they always had those two choices... maybe if you only saw it, because they trace it back to Latin only having "v" for "u" and "v". *not a linguist though* Or maybe they invented it as a shibboleth. A word that can identify spies, because it is pronounced different than some languages would expect. Back in the middle ages French and English people would speak French. But if the English troups used "leftennant" and the French would use "lieuteneant" they could easily identify spies, because they'd accidently drop the wrong pronounciation. *that part is pure speculation on my part. I heard that troops did similar things frequently. Never heard about this word being used that way though.

Tbh I usually just go by people’s own opinions, so if you think your eyes are blue they’re probably blue :P The only exception to that rule is Seb because if he were to come out and say his eyes were blue I would personally fly over there just to tell him he’s wrong.
a few months ago teefury h ad a tshirt with like thors eyes, iron mans eyes, caps eyes and i think the hulk (lmao i own this shirt you'd think i'd know whats on it) and at the bottom is deadpool saying 'hey wheres the red head' and i fucking love deadpool BUT I LOVE NAT and i had to buy a shirt that acknowledged the lack of nat on merch. still waiting for her to be on merch!!
