                    TRUTHFULLY   ,   LIZZIE   HADN’T   EVEN   noticed   the   starlight   shining   through   the   slanted   window   in   the   barbershop .     she’s   been   much   too   focused   on   mopping   the   copious   amounts   of   blood   off   the   floor   from   her   and   sweeney’s   kills   of   the   night .     when   she   looks   up   at   him   ,   it   is   with   an   expression   of   pleasant   surprise   and   a   smile   breaks   out   upon   her   lips   as   she   leans   the   mop   up   against   the   wall   before   joining   him   at   the   window   to   gaze   out   at   the   stars   and   london’s   skyline .     it   is   a   bittersweet   moment   ,   she   feels   ,   but   she   won’t   let   the   bitterness   overlap   with   the   sweet .     her   mother   had   always   said   similar   things   to   her   ,   you   see    [   ...   ]    and   ,   now   elizabeth   is   reminded   of   how   much   she   truly   misses   her .     of   how   much   guilt   she   holds   for   not   being   able   to   save   her   in   time .     but   ,   the   fact   that   sweeney   views   her   in   the   same   light   is   also   a   comfort   to   her .     maybe   she’s   not   all   bad   after   all   ...   ,    ❛   me   mum   used   t’   say   that   t’   me .     or   ,   at   least   somethin’   similar .   ❜    the   dirty   blonde   confides   in   him   ,   shooting   him   a   side   glance   and   a   smile   before   wiping   her   bloody   hands   down   on   her   apron   ,    ❛   ya   really   think   so   ?   ❜
