Like personally I think they love each other just as deeply regardless of whether or not they’re actively romantic with each other. Like they don’t have to be romantic for it to be strong and full. Like I’m interested because I headcanon Daryl as being a-spec, so I think they could be queer platonic. But I also kind of think he’s demi and would be happily romantic and maybe sexual with pretty much only Carol.
