Always thinking about how Andriel never says “I love you” and it’s just??? So fitting? 

Like, these are two men who’ve gone through hell together. Of course they love each other, it’s a given. 

Andrew doesn’t say I love you, he tells Neil to stay. He makes promises and keeps them. He lets Neil name their cats ridiculous things. He stands in front of the door when he knows Neil feels the need to run. Andrew doesn’t say I love you, he gives Neil a key and calls it home.

Neil doesn’t say I love you, he offers to leave when he knows it’d kill him. He carries every key Andrew gives him, even the ones that he’ll never use again. He respects Andrew’s boundaries, and it’s a little thing but it means everything. He holds onto their Nothing with both hands. Neil doesn’t say I love you, he says he’s not going anywhere.

Andriel doesn’t say I love you, but they make damn sure nobody questions that they do.
