Eh, I've heard the trailer confirmed horrible leaks from MSW? If Ben Dies, DLF LIED. EVERYONE involved with SW lied then. It was said there is a HAPPY ENDING! Ben dying, is NOT a happy ending. It would tell the audience, that each of the OT heroes (and the PT heroes) , are horrible people, who deserve to die out . They don't deserve to exist.

I combined these asks because same energy.

I ALWAYS rely on canon/official materials ONLY to speculate because even if these “leakers” get SOME things right they DON’T KNOW the whole story. You CAN’T trust them every time but you CAN trust canon, because it doesn’t have a separate agenda.

What did the official trailer tell us?

Rey still feels alone. She feels like no one understands her.

Ben still enters peak boyfriend mode when Rey is struggling, coming in hot with, “But I do.”

Rey will find her belonging with Ben. FULL STOP.

So, they want us to believe that they would kill off the ONLY PERSON (the LAST Skywalker no less?!) who understands Rey, leaving our heroine forever lonely at the end of the film?!? FAKE.

i think all the time about how the PILOT EPISODE is called “a study in pink” like...pink is the literal badge of homosexuality, it’s THE color that was used to identify queer people to shame, persecute, and kill them in Nazi Germany, it’s the color that those same queer people reclaimed as a symbol of strength and self-acceptance. this is well-known and widely accepted. the whole show is a study in “pink” - a study in queerness, a study of how being queer shapes your identity and relationships, and in particular, a study of two men in love who must struggle to heal themselves in order to reach each other.
