Today’s Autistic OCs of the Day are: Basil and Angus (created by @flappybirdmom)
“I created these hella cute boyfriends back in 2014, and I’ve been developing them at a snail’s pace ever since. Here they are, in some nice pastel-ish outfits. Basil’s the one one on the right. He’s extremely gay, feels way too much empathy for computers, and has a whole mess of medical conditions and mental health issues that would probably take about three million years to list. He also cannot stop chewing stuff. Like, ever. Whilst Basil’s inclined to be implosive, my bull son, Angus, has a habit of exploding with pent up emotion. It can be pretty startling, since he’s pretty much only semi-verbal by default, and his usual expression is one of mild puzzlement. He also has to deal with near-chronic understimulation, which really isn’t helped by living in a town where nothing exciting ever occurs. His constant need for input can occasionally clash with Basil’s sensory issues and hypersensitivity, but the two of them are working out how to compromise. Their relationship is about as chaste as you can get. It’s pretty neat how just sitting close to each other can be grounding for Basil if he starts to disassociate, and provide the sort of pressure stimming that Angus loves. Tl:dr: These two boys are super duper autistic, and I love them almost as much as they love each other.“
