You might think, in a world that has seen its end (multiple times) but suddenly didn't, people would be more open minded to things, they don't understand.

Cas was never the type of person for PDA in front of other people. His and Deans non verbal communication based on long longing looks and simple touches at shoulders or an affectionate pat on the cheek.

But sometimes, when they found a bar, usually crowded with other hunters or survivors, Dean seemed off when Cas touched him.

Ar first Cas thought that he maybe just overreacted and he really did not want to be THAT lover, but with the time and more study of Dean's body language, it was clear to him, that Dean was ashamed.

"You don't understand...THEY don't understand, it's complicated", was what Cas got as an answer as he asked the hunter about it.

"What's complicated about love? Dean, you don't have to kiss me in front of these people, but you shouldn't be ashamed of who you are!"

"I'm not ashamed of you!"

"That's not what I said" the ex-angel sighed "Dean, this is not about me!" he looked at the hunter, who was visibly uncomfortable. His ears and neck red, his arms crossed over his chest.

Cas looked at him, did not dare to touch, even if he wanted to. He could literally see what happened in Dean's mind, even without his Mojo, this was something he had learned really quick to understand.

"I need some time, please" Dean said, his voice barely a whisper.

"That's okay, just, let me know when I can help," Castiel was finally brave enough to touch his lover, laid his hands on Dean's arms, a kiss on his cheek "I'm here, I love you."

if they weren’t homophobic and weren’t actively trying snuff out anything gay from Supernatural, why would they care about changing the Spanish Dub before it’s released on Netflix? Like, they’ve already screwed over their queer fans enough can’t they just let them have this one thing??

What I find funny of people talking about how the C*-W isn't homophobic and that they do have a lot of LGBTQ+ representation, is that they can't even mention ONE example of a queer character that has been not only represented correctly with their true self acknowledged but also been part of the main plot of a mainstream show, not just making an appearance from time to time or being pushed to the side. It's 2020 already, we can't keep celebrating the crumbs they throw at us when they feel like it. We need a loud, valid and explicit representation! We don't deserve less!
